A Warning about Recruitment scams

Unfortunately, recently the Basware name has been used for unauthorized and non-existent Basware jobs which have been falsely advertised to interested job seekers. We understand that some job seekers might have fallen victim to an online scam where individuals pose as representatives of Basware in an attempt to obtain personal, sensitive or financial information from applicants. These scams are well orchestrated, play on known hiring practice conventions and may be very convincing, including full interview, assessment and contract signing process.
All official Basware jobs are listed on our career site, powered by Jobylon, with direct links to our application process. A legitimate Basware recruiting process may be initiated on LinkedIn, known job site or other professional network, but all subsequent communications will take place from a sender using the firstname.lastname@basware.com email address. Further to this, legitimate interviews may be conducted over the phone, in person, or via an approved enterprise videoconferencing service (such as Microsoft Teams or GoToMeeting). As a part of candidate background screening process, we may also request some personal information though the official screening platform provided by Sterling. Basware does not hire employees outside our current operating countries.
Should you encounter a recruitment process that claims to be for Basware but offers jobs outside Basware countries, communications sent from personal email addresses or outside known enterprise videoconferencing service, please do not provide any personal or financial information. If you think you have been a victim of fraud or identity theft, please contact your local authorities.
